HEALTH POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS

We hope to convey our transparent protocols for safety and public health during the current pandemic. We hope to be a safe place for your health maintence while ensuring mindfulness and safety in the process. For any questions, please email us below.

Class Registration:

  • All students must sign up for class in advance. If you have not already done so, please create an online login through the MindBody and/or download the MindBody consumer app to your phone, search for Boerne Yoga with location being Boerne TX.
  • You must have a credit card saved on your profile in order to sign up for classes. If the system does not automatically prompt you, go to the My Info tab and click Profile and edit the billing information.
  • Please be sure you have opted to receive email and text communication through your online profile.
  • You will now only have 2 hours prior to class to “early cancel” without a penalty. Cancellations can be made through your online account. Go to the My Info tab and click My Schedule.
  • Cancelling a class with less than 2 hours until class time or not showing up to class will result in a forfeiture of the class purchase or a $15 fee if you are on the monthly autopay or yearly membership.
  • IF THE CLASS IS FULL YOU WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITLIST. If a spot opens up and you are moved to the class list, you will be notified via email and text. The text message will give the option to accept or decline if you are moved from the waitlist to the confirmed list. ***IMPORTANT TO NOTE
  • In accordance with safety guidelines, the number of class participants will be limited to a number of people that permits maintaining a distance of 6 feet apart. We have placed stickers on the floor at the studio for designated spacing.
  • If you have any issues with your online account, email Desiree at desiree@boerneyoga.com.

Studio Policies:

  • The studio will be open 10 minutes before class and 10 minutes after class. We ask to be mindful of social distancing in the lobby and to promptly put things in cubbies and find your way to your mat. We have hand sanitizer and alcohol wipe accessible before and after class.
  • The entrance will be locked at class start time and will not be accessible if you are late. Out of respect to your fellow yogis and your instructor, we ask you to be on time and stay until the end of the class. This is also a safety issue so that we do not have unlocked doors at any time during a class.
  • Mat placement will be clearly marked in the studio. We have spaced everyone out to the required 6 feet apart. We kindly ask you to only place your mat in a marked spot.
  • Blocks and straps will not be available until further notice. Feel free to bring your own!
  • Instructors will be safely distancing themselves from students and will not be providing hands-on adjustments.

Health:

  • The health and safety of our community is our highest priority. Please, if you feel ill at all or have come in contact with anyone presenting symptoms, stay home. We will continue our zoom classes, so you can still practice with us! For more information about the symptoms and progression of COVID-19, please visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html.
  • Masks will not be required during practice because we can safely maintain the required 6 feet for social distancing.  However, you are welcome to wear your masks, if you desire.
  • As always, we are committed to providing our community with the cleanest space possible. Before and after each class, all shared surfaces, door handles, floors, equipment (aerial silks), will be sanitized/steamed as suggested by the CDC. We have researched various cleaning products that are effective in killing the COVID-19 virus and have invested in products and protocols to sanitize the space.
